Order 1/2 roasted duck but what they giving me was not a full 1/2 duck, it was just bunch of crums. I've order from here all the time with the old Hong Minh owner so I know what a 1/2 duck look like. With the new owner, this is why they slow becuz they be cheatting on people with their food that they paid for. Would not recommend, I won't be coming back either. I rather go to the old Hong Minh owner new place Hawaii City, at least there I know I would get my money worth.

Did not know this place existed and who knew how great the food would be. Dont judge the place based on the outside. The food is amazing and different from what Chinese food I’ve ever had!!!

Best roasted duck and BBQ pork. The stir fry vegetables were cooked perfectly! The chicken wings are to die for!

By far the best wonton soup in all of New Orleans. Wontons are handmade and bursting with flavor. Broth is flavorful and not too salty. Greens in there are perfectly cooked. That said not everything here is equally good. The roast pork looks better than it tasted -- didn't have much of a bark / crust on it. And the fried rice that came with the lunch special tasted stale. I've been here many times -- their Singapore Mai Fun is great as are all their green vegetable dishes.

This restaurant really is a hole in a wall. I was a little skeptical when I arrived here because of how sketchy the outside was and how outdated the inside was, but the service was still nice and the food was really good. We got the Salt & Pepper Chicken Wings ($13.00), the Beef Chow Fun ($17.00), and the Roasted Duck Noodle Soup ($13.00). All three dishes were freshly made and had huge portions. Hong Minh isn't a fancy place, but I'd still give it a chance if you haven't tried it before.

The best food ever.
The price is a little high but not that much. What I don't like is the amount of food they give you to take away. They give you less than half the plate.
Vegetarian options: Tofu is tasty
The food at this little hole on the wall place is amazing. AMAZING! I ordered the string beans on the lunch special. Delicious, nutritios, generous portion. My belly was very, very happy. My son ordered the Mongolian beef....declared it the best Mongolian beef. There you have it!
