My recent breakfast experience at the IHOP in Harvey, Louisiana, was truly enjoyable, hitting all the right notes for a satisfying morning meal. I opted for the Breakfast Burrito, and it was nothing short of excellent. It arrived at the perfect temperature, ensuring every bite was warm and delicious. The portion size was just right – My daughter chose the Impossible Sausage Power Combo, and she thoroughly enjoyed it as well. Everything on her plate was good and tasty, making for a wholesome and satisfying start to her day. Beyond the food, the service was a definite highlight. Our server was attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed and making our dining experience smooth and pleasant. Overall, it was a great breakfast with delicious food and excellent service. I would certainly recommend this IHOP location in Harvey for a dependable and tasty breakfast.

Ok, so I had previously reviewed this particular IHop and it was an OK experience, so I decided to go there again. Unfortunately, this time I had a very uncomfortable exchange with our waitress. We sat down and our order was taken quickly (we went on Father's Day). We were greeted immediately and the waitress was knowledgeable. The problem actually came in AFTER we ate. The last time we ate at this IHop location the tip for the waitress was automatically added to our bill (which we don't mind because it's convenient) so when we paid this time, we didn't leave a tip on the card because we thought it was automatically charged because that's what happened previously. Thinking nothing of it, we left a cash tip on the table and headed to our vehicle. As we're getting into our vehicle the waitress comes running out of the restaurant with our receipt in hand, to demand a tip 😳. I was confused because I've literally never had a waitress hunt me down for an additional tip before. I informed her that I left her a cash tip in addition to the automatic gratuity and she said that the gratuity is no longer taken automatically, so I needed to leave her a tip on my card in addition to the cash tip I already gave. My biggest problem with this entire situation is the fact that other patrons were staring at us thru the restaurant window probably assuming that we dined and dashed because of the way the waitress literally RAN outside to chase us down, waving the receipt in her had, demanding a tip. I was so EMBARRASSED. I will never go to this IHop again and I won't recommend anyone I know to go there either. To chase us down and demand an additional tip AFTER I already gave you a cash tip is crazy. Wow.

Me and my family are in town for a graduation and ended up at Ihop, we are from Orlando, FL so I was looking for the establishment to be a bit like ours as it is an Ihop establishment. The food was great and even our server who was extremely helpful and prompt to our needs, we will be returning for those pancakes she was telling us about. Thank you Shanicka R for your hardworking today and if you ever in Orlando you can look us up. Keep up with that bubbly personality it's gonna get you in the right doors

Everything was great!!! Greeted when we entered and seated right away. The server Jarvis was great, & had our food served hot and fresh. Everyone was so polite and made sure our experience was perfect. Thank you and congrats on the grand opening

Only rated one star because location seems closed for business
It's hit or miss. Needs better staffing. You might get a good meal one night and go back the following week to the chef being too high to cook. Or having an entire menu that cannot be made at the time due to laziness. Waited an hour and some change before leaving because nothing could be made. And yes, the chef reeked of Marijuana and was passed out on a table. The only person being professional was the waiter at the time who did not charge me for the drinks due to the long wait and lack of service. I wish him the best and hopefully this place finds new management to take care of their hiring process.

Not impressed. My wife ordered the French toast with 2 slices with scrambled eggs and bacon on the side. Waitress made it the combo so it only came with one slice. I ordered the avocado & bacon eggs benedict. I got eggs benedict with ham. Altho they fixed that with no issue. Waitress we had seemed drunk or high. She was definitely off. The cook was a nice woman. She made it tolerable. Definitely won't be back to this location.
