This visit was just okay, but definitely not what I remember from past experiences. I swore the food used to be more plentiful and flavorful, which is why I always looked forward to coming back. Unfortunately, the quality and portions seem to have gone downhill.

The chargrilled oysters were the biggest disappointment. Each one was about the size of a dime, yet still priced as if they were full-sized. The gumbo also fell short — it only had shrimp and the overall flavor was just average, nothing that really stood out. Another letdown was the Voodoo rolls. The portion size has greatly decreased, and now you only receive two rolls sliced into three pieces, which makes it look like more than it really is. For the price, it felt underwhelming compared to what I used to get.

On the brighter side, my husband enjoyed his fried shrimp plate, which seemed to be one of the stronger options. The cocktails were also a highlight. They were tasty, balanced, and reasonably priced, which helped improve the overall experience. Service was quick once we were seated, and the staff worked efficiently, which I appreciated.

Overall, while the visit wasn’t terrible, it also wasn’t memorable. I truly hope management addresses the consistency and portion sizes, because this used to be one of my favorite spots. With a few improvements, I believe they could get back to the quality that once made them stand out.

Ordered corn n crawfish soup. Awful. It was literally a cup of cheese with very little corn no flavor. I must I ordered this dish on a sit in visit and it was awesome. Don't know if the cook had a bad day.

This place has earned it's reputation as one of the best seafood restaurants in New Orleans. I asked the server for recommendations and she steered me to the Catfish Loozianne. Absolutely delicious!

Yesterday we visited. The oysters were AMAZING they are always good but yesterday they weee perfect right amount of cheese and butter!!!

We dined at the Laplace location on Friday 8/22. The server (Melissa) was not friendly with no warm greeting the food was rushed and not good at all. The server offered to replace the meal and then 10 minutes later the cook comes out and says the kitchen is closed. We will never return to this location again!

I had the voodoo eggrolls they were so delicious. Also, the stuffed fish with pasta it was so good. I enjoyed everything from the food to the wonderful waitress we had, definitely recommend for you guys to go and try.

Wanted oysters but couldn't get them until after 4pm. Overall everything else was good. It was busy so there was a wait to be seated but food came out pretty quickly

The service was good and friendly. The food was quite costly. Be careful what you order. It wasn't appealing to the eyes. There was an automatic 18% gratuity for 5 or more. The voodoo rolls did not disappoint. However, the chargrilled oysters did. Might I add, it was some time prior to the arrival of the meal- only for it to arrive to the table room temperature. I wanted to leave but my adult kids was in town to celebrate my birthday. What a gift.
