I would not recommend this place. The service was not good and at the end when we received our checks the lady wrote on the receipts with a pen the tip and total. My husband had to scratch it out and write the tip he wanted to give. We have never experienced that before and were very shocked. The food was good but it’s not worth going back after that experience. I would also like to add that we looked up the laws and it’s illegal for a restaurant/waiter/waitress to write or add their own tips. The only time a restaurant can do that if it’s a set amount stated on the menu or receipt that an automatic gratuity will be added. This restaurant did not have that written on their menu or receipt. So basically the lady straight up committed a crime

It was ok. I had the spicy tuna roll and crawfish wontons. I did like the wontons as I'd never had them before. The spicy tuna was just ok. I'm new to the area and have had better in other states. I'll keep trying other sushi places. I did not dine in, so I can't speak to the service or atmosphere.

The floor is STICKY, the tables are STICKY, the menus are sticky, the surfaces are dusty, the restroom is gross, the place is humid and the a/c is barely blowing.
Now, let's get to how gummy the glass is at the fish cooler. Can't even see the fish under the glass. The Calamari is funky and inedible... We will not be returning here.

I was honestly very disappointed in this restaurant. I typically love all kinds of Japanese foods but there’s a few things holding this place back from a 5 - star.
Service- I’ll start with the good (never give criticism without offering a positive!) So, the service was great! The servers were kind, quick and helpful with recommendations to help hone in on foods I’d likely enjoy.
Food - a few things went wrong here, the agedashi tofu had a weird gelatinous film beneath the lightly fried batter. I’ve never experienced that before and I’ve eaten my fare share of agedashi tofu… I love the stuff normally! But I couldn’t eat more than 1 or 2 pieces of it because of that weird gel stuff. Second, I get it- this happens but I def found a piece of hair fried to my heart attack roll. I could eat no more at that point. Lastly, while not a deal breaker (obviously because I still dined there) they don’t serve alcohol. I was thinking that at least a glass of wine may have been enough to dull my sense of smell but we couldn’t even try that approach. lol
Atmosphere - Ok so the good here is the murals were pretty cool. However, I’m not sure if I just have a residual pregnancy nose ( my youngest is 6yrs old…. So probably not) or what but wow… the odor of mildew/mold was overpowering. I’m pretty sure I have mold spores embedded in my respiratory system at this point. It smelled really bad. Then I also started noticing how dirty the window sills and over all build was too. The lighting is dark and makes it feel like 1980s in there. All of that gave an overall very poor impression of the entire establishment.
Unfortunately this was my first and likely last visit to this restaurant. I wanted to like it - I really did and I LOVE Japanese food but man.. those mentioned things above really hindered my ability to enjoy my experience fully and unfortunately influenced my overall star rating significantly.

I love this place. The prices are super reasonable and it’s not really busy. The food is always fresh and delicious
I walked in and was welcomed and sat at a table. No one came to my table, so I waited for a good 10 minutes then a couple walked in and they were seated at a table, given a menu a d serviced. I got up and said, no one wants to service me, so bye and I left.
