The food was okay. I thought the hash browns were thicker than the ones I've had at other Waffle Houses and the sausage patty was a little spicy. I live in Mississippi, and never have seen Waffle House employees or any employee texting or listening to music too loud for customers to hear. It wasn't crowded but I saw an employee using FaceTime while working. It's normal here in Louisiana I guess.
On Christmas Day, went in to get a meal. There was a pissed off employee ranting about another employee. Really made me uncomfortable sitting there listening to them ranting. Food was great, my server was also great and apologized for the conduct of the other employee but still. With the way people go off nowadays, it really made me nervous to be there.
Breakfast at 0930 alongside the A10 eastbound to Houston. Fun experience and well occupied on all tables, so we sat at the bar. Swift and efficient service - pancakes + cheeseburger with potatoes. The Diner style evidens the low quality of the food. Pancakes were as to be expected, while my cheeseburger had no taste and was to greasy. A mediate ok Diner experience, as they come.
