My husband had the steak, was delicious. Where can you get a steak that you're able to cut with a plastic butter knife!! The gumbo, the greens, the loaded seafood potato, WOW!!!! Must check this place out!

I order 10 PC wings with fries and 6 inches hot sausage sandwich. The wings was great, the fries was burnt, hot sausage sandwich thin meat, and dry. Also they past the debit and credit card fees to the customer. My husband was disappointed with his sandwich.

The Red beans are soulful. Tastes like they are made from scratch and not a blue runner can. Also there’s this hot sausage and shrimp on bun that makes me wonder how’d you put these two things together but it works. The hotline warmers concern me since it’s outdated, but I’m sure if you put your hand on it you melt your fingerprints.

I went to order Yakan and the lady told me they didn’t have any so I feel as if you don’t have something then you need to close a restaurant down or take it off the menu they said they was all sold out and would have some more tomorrow, so I just ordered the gumbo which I asked what type of gumbo it was and they said shrimp, chicken gizzards, chicken, and hot sausage so I went ahead and ordered and paid for it and when I got home which is only like a mile down the street it was ice cold it had no shrimp in it. It had chicken and it had no hot sausage, but it did have gizzards I was so dissatisfied , it tasted bland. I understand it was at the end of the day because it was about 530 and they close at seven still nonetheless I believe if you have it on the menu and this is what’s in your type of food that you order, then that should be what it is , would I recommend this restaurant no I would not

Was my first time trying the restaurant I was in for out of town for work and a local suggested I give them a try and they definitely were on point with the turkey wing with the rice and gravy candy yams were great also will definitely be back if I am ever close

I don't normally write reviews, but this is deserving of one. The place was clean. The atmosphere was nice. The people were pleasant. And, this was the best shrimp po-boy I've had in such a long time! Oh, and the prices are amazing! Love love love!

I stopped in this establishment today for some fried fish and I must say it was EXCELLENT. It was hot, crispy, fresh and fried just the way I like it. The dining area was clean, the staff was friendly as was the environment and the music was nice. I would definitely recommend this Cafe to family and friends and plan on returning.
Parking: I was able to find a parking spot without any problem
Home cooking very good. Will see them again for that southern comfort.
