Absolutely the best donuts this side of Dallas. They are very accommodating any time you come by & the best people in the business! Plus, they aren't limited to donuts. There is a very selection of sausages, egg & cheese croissant or koloski & that's just the beginning. You'll have to stop by for all the other things.
Donuts are pretty good here, but the lady behind the counter needs to slow down. She leaves you no time for decisions. I know it gets crowded, so it's necessary at times but I happened to be there when there was just one other person being helped at the other end of the counter. And I wasn't being indecisive, just trying to take a quick look at the product to see what I want.
I stop in about once a month typically on Saturdays to grab donuts and kolaches for my family that live in Houghton… I usually pick up a dozen kolaches half hot and spicy half regular a dozen glazed donuts and then let the folks at star donuts pick me and assorted dozen and get three chocolate milks foods always good they’re very polite and very efficient and I would recommend them for any of your donut or kolaches needs.
