I am in town for Mother's Day weekend. I kept hearing people say if you want a good steak, try Gonzalez restaurant. The people didn't lie! That ribeye steak and grilled shrimp was The Bomb!!!
We've been here quite a few times. The food has been good except for one time. I ordered a quesadilla meal that tasted really weird when I added their green sauce to it and ended up getting sick later that night. The sauce tasted like fish that had gone bad. The waitress did nothing. She could have taken even a portion off the cost of my meal. Also the margaritas are not a good deal! Other restaurants charge the same price for twice the amount. Will probably go to Los Compas...
I had the tamales, rice, and beans. I have never had such different tasting rice, it could be a meal by itself! Everything was great and the service was good. I was in from Texas and hope to go back.
