Very generous portions of local favorite, including fried pork chops, seafood, and boudain balls. Some dishes (ie crawfish boudain ball) are a bit saltier, which can easily be remedied by adding a drink to the order. If don't want to wait in line, best avoid lunch rush (11:45 - 13:00).
Always stop here on the way home or to Baton Rouge. The cajun packaged meat is pretty high. Thought 2 pack ribeye was $22 dollars. No, $22 a pound.
The boudin balls are great, cooked just right and spiced perfectly for me. The deepfried ribs we get every time, and I use their cajun spice daily.
