Asher African Market is an absolute gem and the best African market across four states. This location serves not only delicious meals but also rare African ingredients, making it a one-stop shop for authentic African delicacies. The market is highly organized, clean, and well-stocked with authentic Nigerian food and produce.
The cooked food is top tier and delicious. Specific meals enjoyed include fufu and egusi soup with beef, and fufu with vegetable soup and chicken, which had a nice little hint of spice. The bread is also delicious, soft from beginning to end. It is truly the only place to get authentic cooked Nigerian food in the city.
The owners are fantastic, considerate, very thoughtful, welcoming, and exude peace and joy. Customer service is excellent. The store is highly recommended to anyone.
