Bud’s Broiler is the real deal. Unbelievable burgers and their sauce is to die for. My boys loved the hotdogs and my husband and I devoured the #4 burger. The wait staff were friendly and prompt.

Great burgers! My go-to is the #4 with sauce. I no longer live in the area; these burgers are something I actually start to crave in the times between visits to NOLA.
This particular Bud's is dated and dingy... in other words, absolutely perfect. I wouldn't have it any other way. Don't confuse dingy with dirty, it's clean, just old. And just right.
You will wait a few minutes for your order, as they put the patties on the grill when you order. Not as quick as fast food, but much fresher and way better. I love that the cheese is actual cheese and not American slices.
The place had several customers when I was there, but I managed to get a photo of the dining room without capturing bystanders.
Nostalgic..it reminded me of my undergrad days when I would grab me a bud broiler burger and a shake...awesome then and awesome today!

My husband stood in line for 5 minutes waiting for the cashier to take our order. When he asked her about taking his order her response was "I'm entering a large order and if you don't like it, you can leave." Instead of acknowledging him and that she will be with him shortly, she ignored him standing there. If that is how they treat customers, we will not support that establishment.
