This is the first time we have been here. We were coming from Ochsner Hospital,had been there 4 hours having test done.I told my Man I was Hungry let's go to Dots diner.Everytime I have a Procedure done we want to stop but couldn't because of the procedure that I had.Today was just testing and Like I said I was Hungry.The Waitresses were Very Welcoming Polite,Kind,Respectful and Greeted everyone with a Smile.Didn't get her name she has blonde hair and wears glasses.She took our order read it back to us.She checked on us made sure everything was good.The food came out Fresh,Hot ,Delicious and took about 8to9 minutes.The whole experience was Very Good.We will definitely be back. Thank you so much.

Noisy but fun
09-30-2025 back for another visit. Had delicious Salisbury and onions with french fries and green peas. Pleasant server. Always looking forward to coming back to Dot's

Therr was too much going on the day I was there. The waitress was distracted and kind of forgot about me. I was able to get a drink to go, whick was all I wanted.

Local place with great food at a reasonable price. This is not a fancy place, but the people are friendly and the food tastes great. Home style New Orleans cooking; liver and onions, pork chops, hamburger steak. Comfort food like we grew up with. I've also been there for breakfast which is also excellent. Great little neighborhood place.
Great breakfast ,great service, great price. Wanted to point out the waitress that day , she serviced 10-12 tables and did not miss a beat. If I were Dot’s management I would make sure I would do everything possible to retain her because her work ethic was a breath of fresh air

The staff was playing loud music with profanity. And dancing behind the counter. I Ordered a bowl of grits and when the server dropped them off as she was leaving they were cold. No one came to check on our table for me to tell them.
