I was in the mood for oysters so I googled oyster poboys near me. At the time I was in Elmwood shopping center. This spot popped up and all the reviews were great, so I ordered and went to pick up. The lady whom I spoke was really friendly and encouraged me to sit and eat while it was hot. She brought me a drink and promised me that their oysters were the best out there.Well .... she was right, it was the best I've had in many years. Perfect ratio of oysters to bread. The onion rings were crispy and very tasty also. My favorite new spot for oysters , yea !!!
Lady at the counter is rude and was micro managing the kitchen staff while I stood there trying to order. Then when I didn’t tip she loudly sighed and said something about a tip.

We order lunch for our auto repair shop from here a couple times a month. The food is always delicious and the atmosphere is great! Lots of nostalgia on the walls! The roast beef on seeded bread is hands down the best roast beef poboy in the city! The fried seafood is always cooked and seasoned to perfection. Brenda and Dennis are great people, They make everything fresh to order, which gives me a minute to talk with Ms. Brenda.

I was craving a shrimp poboy today. I had been looking at this place for a while and finally decided to give it a try today... It's located in a cozy little neighborhood not far from the main highway. If I lived there, I'd probably be there quite a bit! Lol. It's a cute little mom and pop joint with very nice people, pretty cool decor, and a pretty chill atmosphere. I got the six inch shrimp poboy. It was a pretty decent size that actually filled me up. The bread was fresh and had the perfect crunch. The shrimp were seasoned well, and all the toppings were fresh! If you're in the area, I'd definitely give them a try!!

The shrimp were perfectly cooked and the french bread was exactly how I like it, crunchy outside and soft in the middle. I will definitely be back to try the renowned oysters! Prices are very reasonable too.
