Really want to support local; however, they are not trying hard enough to rate higher than a 3. Ordered a Lil Cajun Heat, which was really good. It came with a side of chips, but they were out of chips. Asked for mayo, but they were out. Ordered three drinks, but they were out of ice. Someone did finally bring a bag of ice and we received our drinks about half way though our meal. Only bottled water in the cooler, no bottled soft drinks to offer. It was 11:30am when we ordered....
This place is absolutely precious! Not only does it have the old ice cream parlor charm, but they back it up with some killer dishes (not just ice cream, either). They have old-fashioned candy, a carousel, arcade games, a bandstand, and they continue to add things to make the customer experience like no other. Stop by for live music on Saturdays and they'll be adding burgers and barbecue to the menu soon. If you want a cute place to take the family, look no further. Cannot...
