This does not concern the plant as much as some of its workers. One your associates, Ryan (didn’t catch his last name) and his family helped my wife and I this past Saturday 8/3/24. We were on a hiking in Oklahoma when my wife started having problems overheating despite drinking plenty of fluids. Ryan and his family not only stayed with us and prayed with us, but were able to contact the park rangers. The rangers got her out in a small utility vehicle and back to the top of the trail. As it turns out, we are from the Metairie area and they work nearby, though I believe they live in Livingston area. Many great thanks to he and his family. You are lucky to have them.
It's called Cancer ally for a reason!

3.6 Roentgen, Not great... Not terrible.
I was "lent" to LP&L from HL&P back in 1980 for hot startup testing for a year. I found out that was the best part of Nuclear Plant Operations in general; everything else was so boring. The Start-Up Engineers at Waterford were very creative and fun to work with. Unfortunately, we only had a few of the same caliber back in Texas when I got back to start-up our plant.
Great Place to work ..It is a very professional workforce at that plant..People are very helpfulAnd polite and courteous to each other..Even short term outages..Excellent Restaurant ..I thought the food was very good there.

I hope they turn this thing off during hurricanes..
Clean, green, and safe nuclear power! Waterford 3 provides almost 10% of Louisiana's electricity and is part of the best utility company in the country.
