just got my first order of cracklings today, arrived to me in Indiana in 3days, kind of dry like over cooked but they were packaged good! thanks!
Stopped in this morning and bought 1 pound of cracklins. We usually stop in Krotz Springs but was near this location and decided to just get some here.
When I tell you that their cracklins were so hard that I couldn’t eat >75% of them, I ain’t lying! Only about 10% even had a decent amount of meat; all skin that was so hard, it is impossible to break with normal human teeth. Flavor/seasoning was about 5 out of 10. Food I have picked up to go has been great. The chicken cracklins were warm with a light crisp, the boudin was meaty with good flavor, the fried ribs are always our favorite to chew on, the meat pie (meat) is really good and the crawfish pie is my hubby's favorite.
Outside, the fuel pumps are roomy and easy to operate. The diesel pumps on the side are very convenient for my hubby's dually.
