Hebert's Boudin & Cracklins Reviews
Food I have picked up to go has been great. The chicken cracklins were warm with a light crisp, the boudin was meaty with good flavor, the fried ribs are always our favorite to chew on, the meat pie (meat) is really good and the crawfish pie is my hubby's favorite.
Outside, the fuel pumps are roomy and easy to operate. The diesel pumps on the side are very convenient for my hubby's dually.
The staff has been really nice and Mr. Hebert is always accommodating if something...read full review

Hebert's Boudin & Cracklins is a hidden gem in Jennings. The warm chicken cracklins and meaty boudin are must-tries, along with the fried ribs and flavorful meat pies. The place offers a cozy country store ambiance, complete with various spices and cooking supplies, including Louisiana staples and McWare cookware. Customers praise the cracklins for their proper preparation, with many noting that less meat is left on the fat, resulting in better taste and texture. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the owner, Mr. Hebert, provides excellent service. The cracklins, boudin, and hot links are all hot and delicious, with options to buy in portions of 1 scoop, 4 scoops, ½ gallons, or 1-gallon jars. The prices are reasonable, and many customers leave satisfied, sometimes even ordering large quantities like a half gallon to be shipped home. The store sells fresh and frozen food, making it a popular stop for passing through. Customers love the authentic flavors and the welcoming atmosphere that makes it a regular destination for Southern treats.
