Absolutely Love this little place. The lunch buffet is always good and the staff is amazing. The sweet little old man just quietly sitting there drinking his coffee at the table by the door owns the place and he's a true old Frenchman...

The service was slow, had to ask for utensils.
The food was amazing.
Their menu gives you a ton of options.
The parking is horrible, so if you can find elsewhere to park do so.
The staff ( at least two waitresses) were as friendly as could be.
Overall definitely worth your time.
Oh and go on a very empty stomach, you can thank me later.

The food was delicious, the meat was perfect 🔥 The only thing is that the fries and vegetables were too salty for my taste — but that’s just my personal preference. For my husband, the salt level was perfect!

WOULDNT RECOMMEND
went saturday night around 6:50 pm and sat and ordered drinks and appetizer of fried pickles and onion rings. drinks came , the people sitting next to us got up and left because theyre food took so long! we said ok we might as well order , our waiter came and took our order,45 mins later our appetizer came. then a hour later another waiter came and asked if we ordered a main course we said yes. she asked what it was, we told her, she came back and said the order was never put in at this point its 9pm and theyre closing. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. IT WASNT BUSY AND IT TOOk 45 mins to get onion rings and fried pickles. IT TAKES 2 MINS TO FRY BOTH

Local bar restaurant that was recommended to me. I had the crawfish pie to start, they were good although a little disappointed as the filling to crust ratio is off because there were mini pies. Then I had the browning gold sandwich, a hollowed out french roll stuffed with crab shrimp and crawfish in a creamy Creole sauce. Delicious. Staff were there when I needed them. Met the owner he was an old-timer speaking French Creole.

Have driven by this place numerous times. Decided to do a quick lunch stop, which turned out to be not so quick. They had a buffet offering for lunch, which was seafood, which isn't an often in the mood for me. Took a while to get asked for my order as I think they get more buffet crowd at lunch.

Food took a bit long to get to the table, and I had to ask for silverware. Waitress went to the basket at the buffet to get some again indicator that the buffet was their go-to offering.

Service was a bit chaotic. What I mean was it seemed pretty clear that our waitress was the team captain. She did good but was often darting back and forth, covering others' tasks, not just hers.

Would I go again, possibly, but I wouldn't go out my way to get there.

Great poboys! The oyster and the shrimp poboys were fantastic and generous portions. The sweet potato fries were delicious as well.

What a waste of money!! I thought I was at Captain D's! Ordered the seafood platter and there were no fromg legs. The serving size of the fish was less than a child's plate should be. Oh, and lest I forget, I got 12 french fries! This is riducolous!! Doesn't cold slaw come with this?
I am going to tell everyone I can find within a 100 miles and relate to this the garbage coming out of this place.
