I stopped here to get the kids and myself ice cream, but after we unloaded the kids and got to the door we realized they are apparently drive thru only.
Okay that’s fine we load the kids all back in the car and figure out what everyone wants and go to the drive thru. We order everything but they’re out of jamoca almond fudge and the employee says they have jamoca almond fudge in non dairy and I told her that works.
Here’s where it goes downhill - as I’m driving down the road I realize it taste like caramel more than coffee and there’s no almonds, no fudge but chocolate chips instead. I go back and ask if I got the right things because there’s chocolate chips and no almonds.
I am informed that it is and it’s because it’s nondairy and she can give me almonds. I ask if I can get something else instead and I’m again informed she can give me almonds. So I left because it was unprofessional to respond that way and it’s clear that she won’t do anything to correct the issue and I’m out money for something I’m not going to eat.
This all could have been avoided if she communicated better and informed me along the lines of “we have a Jamoca chip non dairy but it has caramel and chocolate chips instead of almonds and fudge”. Instead of saying we have it in nondairy (which implies it’s the same but the ice cream is not made with cow milk). 🫣 this was a completely different ice cream and I don’t even like caramel at all. I had to look up nondairy jamoca just to figure out what this even is.
I didn’t want a refund, just ice cream I would actually eat.
Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had at any Baskin-Robbins.
I’ve been coming to this location regularly without issue — until today. I was initially helped by a newer staff member who was at least somewhat polite, but apparently wasn’t allowed to make waffles (broke)or my slushie, which the manager quickly shut down she said I couldn’t have strawberry and mango. Fine. I ended up ordering a mango slushie and a Banana Royale.
Here’s where everything went downhill.
The manager took over making my ice cream. I wasn’t watching closely at first, but when I looked up, I thought I saw her breaking the banana up with her bare hands. I wasn’t totally sure — until I opened the container in my car and saw only 4 huge chunks of banana thrown in, nothing like how this dessert is usually made.
I walked right back in and politely asked her if she had used her hands to break the banana. Her response? “Yes, so what?”
I asked to speak to a manager — she smirked and said “I am the manager.” I asked for a refund — “Nope. I made it, and that’s that.” I asked for her manager’s name — “I’m not telling you anything and you can call corporate.” I asked for the corporate number — “I don’t have to give you anything.”
She refused to provide my receipt, said it was “in the garbage” and couldn’t be reprinted. The same staff member who initially seemed pleasant instantly turned rude and aggressive once he saw how unprofessional his manager was acting. She began taunting me, clearly putting on a show in front of the now seven customers inside — I was the only Black customer in the store, and at this point I felt targeted, humiliated, and disgusted.
I’ve never felt more disrespected. The manager, a white woman with red hair named Lee (I only caught her name because another customer addressed her), was hostile, unprofessional, and completely unfit for customer service. I’ve been treated with kindness here before — but this experience was the total opposite. It felt personal, and I was left shaken. I also throw the ice cream bowl in the basket Robbin’s trash can.
Avoid this location at all costs. And to corporate: do better.
This is a combo Baskin Robbins and Dunkin Donuts, with a drive though and a few tables inside. Ice cream is good, basic BR stuff at reasonable prices.
