i just dont know what to say. akari USED to be good, now it is HORRIBLE. i went there the other day and got some seafood, THEY BARELY GIVE YOU ANY SEASONING. they are STINGY. the seasoning is what makes the food good anyway. the hibachi i didn't really care for it, do not taste that good to be honest and this same lady just keep getting my order wrong. every single time. she puts TWO instead of ONE, and gave me 1/2 pound than 1 pound. GET IT RIGHT. until there is better service and food i do not care for it anymore and u will not catch me there again until then.

THERE WAS A BIT OF CONFUSION WHEN I ORDERED TAKE OUT IN PERSON. THE TEMPURA VEGGIES WERE UNDER COOKED AND THE SUSHI WAS SMALL. GREAT PRICES THOUGH.

This place is very welcoming. Cozy and comfortable. The waitresses are always very nice, and attentive. My plate had a long hair and i told our waitress about it and imidately offered to bring a whole other plate and the took half price of the ticket. Needless to say they won a longtime customer. The food was amazing like always, service was great like i said, and atmosphere is very comfortable. This is why i gave this place 5 stars. Bubble teas are very good too.

A delicious and delightful place to go on a date or with some good friends! The menu is easy to read, the sushi is fresh and tastyserved in an imagiative fashion, and the staff are friendly and punctual. You'll want to return again to try more of their menu. The tables and booths have enough intimacy surroundings that keep distractions and other patrons at bay from your experience.

Love! Love! Love! This is THE spot to eat hibachi in LaPlace and we think it was even better than our usually go to in Metairie. Hibachi steak and scallops were cooked perfectly and deliciously. The Akari Roll was awesome. We will be back and ya'll should check it out too.
