Walked in at 5pm and a girl rude as hell, said hey we are closed! At 5pm on a Monday when their sign says open and the door was unlocked lights on and during business hours. Unreal

when you finally get off work and go to grab a bite to eat usually this is a good start. but after walking in and ringing the bell for service, waiting 10 min and the employee walks out of the kitchen and straight past you never looking up from their phone or acknowledging you, I will find somewhere else from now on.

The gumbo has no flavor with few chicken scraps and burned roux flavor. The jambalaya was smush brown rice with no sausage or pork and very little chicken. I will not return.

This place has gone to the ground, I asked for paper plates and the only attendant there just threw them on the table , the worst jambalaya I ever tasted, very mushy and stuck together. We just walked out not caring to loose money

Fish was good. The rest was lacking. Potatoe salad needs help. Small salad needs to be fresher. The pastalaya was not it. Presentation is everything even for a place with food on the cheaper side.
I read the bad reviews while eating my Wednesday lunch special and all those bad reviews made sense to me. No taste on the food. Beans no flavor. I guess the owner don't read these reviews.

3 stars for being pretty cheap, but food was really salty (and I generally like salty food). Tried the daily special which was a shrimp stew, side of corn, and side salad. Banana pudding was solid. Would’ve gotten the namesake dish (jambalaya) since I’d assume that’d be the best, but they were out.
