Awesome boiled seafood at some great prices. The chef here has spices on lock for some delicious crabs and crawfish!

I only had the crawfish and they were way under seasoned, very bland. The corn too, no seasoning at all. Not sure what they use but they definitely need to step it up if they want return customers. They are overpriced too, 45 bucks for 8lbs of crawfish and 2 pieces of corn. I can leave one positive, the crawfish were very fresh. If they would season their seafood more and lower their prices a bit I'd give it another try.

Hands down the most fresh crawfish and blue crab I have ever had in the states. This is a cozy family style restaurant. We had the seafood buffet, which includes amazingly flavored blue crab, crawfish, potatoes, sausages and corns. We told the owner we are from New York, and they treated us with their fattest crabs with lots of crab roes. Numnumnum. The cheapest yet best seafood buffet I ever had! Love Louisiana with all my heart.

I guess you could call this place off the beaten path if you're not from the area (or maybe even New Orleans). From the outside, you would never know what it was like inside. It is a former gas station/store converted into a seafood joint that serves boiled shrimp, crabs, crawfish, crab legs, lobster, etc. You walk inside and yeah, its a restaurant. A casual family type crab house. At 1st you think its just the one area you walk into but then you walk to the back section and......awesomeness....it's pretty much a deck on the bayou. the decor is perfectly suited for the place with antique everythings hanging everywhere. trust me, u FEEL Americana (not a typo) in here with all the awesome antiques you can only see from these parts. the deck is perfect for eating some boiled (that's how they do in the south) seafood. Being from the north, i always liked "steamed" seafood, but trust me, boiled seafood is better. For the food, I had boiled crawfish, sausage, corn, and potatoes. Seafood is fresh b/c the owner owns a processing facility and it literally comes straight off the boats. Food is amazing. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to try the other dishes. They also offer all you can eat on certain days. This is seriously the type of place tourists would kill to go. Hopefully tourists can find their way here, b/c for tourists (and people like me that are not originally from here but is here often) this is definitely the type of place we search for. Give it a try.
