Been coming to this place for over 40 years! When I was little I used to buy garbage pale kids and play in the little arcade, they used to have. When I went back an visited louisiana recently (Jan2026) i ordered a delicious shake! Aunt says roast beef is to die for and my pops loves the chili cheese dogs:) Glad to see they are still going strong!

Every now and then I work out in the area. I was craving some hamburger steak with mushrooms, gravy, and onions. My friend suggested y'all and my gosh it's possibly the best I've ever had! Great, friendly service too!

Cheeseburgers/burgers are homemade and very good, this is where I stop for that. Malts are good and thick. Golden crispy french fries. A legacy Drive-In for South Lafourche with ample parking, customers are glad you're still here.

Never been here before, friendly and clean place. I got the crab burger poboy and a Chili cheese dog. Surprised the hotdogs was picked but not disappointed at all it was delicious. The crab burger is a fried crab patty. It was ok.

Disappointment! Living out of state, I’ve not eaten D&D in at least 15 years. When a friend of my mother’s recommended them, sayin they were better than our go-to roast beef po-boy place, we decided to give them a try.
Being with my parents on our way back from New Orleans visiting family in the hospital, we had only eaten breakfast, and were ready for good meal.
We ordered 3 roast beef po-boys, a small chili and some fries. The roast beef had so much salt in them that my husband was unable to eat his due to the salt content making him cough with each bit he took. My mother and I managed to eat about half of ours, but felt like we were eating a box of salt. Outside of the high salt content, there was zero flavor in the roast beef/gravy. My dad had the chili; I tried a couple of bites. The chili was very bland and had little flavor and could have used something to give it taste. Dad ate just a few bites and ended up tossing the rest and said that is the worst chili he’s ever had. We really like supporting local owned places and this may have just been a bad day for D&D; but we are all disappointed in the food. For $65 we could have had much more enjoyable meal elsewhere.
