“Don’t let the outside entrance of the Ugly Cafe deter you. We almost didn’t stop, but we are happy we did. We arrived on a Friday about 6 pm and enjoyed a shrimp po-boy and shrimp basket. We ate in, but most of the locals call in and takeout their orders. It is a busy and popular spot. Our wait person was friendly, efficient, and hospitable!“

“Just finished having lunch there with my wife. The baked ham lunch plate was a perfect sized portion and the ham was juicy and delicious! The green beans and carrots were perfectly cooked and the red bliss potatoes were so tender. My wife’s ham and cheese sandwich was griddled to a beautiful golden brown. We both got a slice of pie to finish off our meal (lemon meringue for her, bumbleberry for me). Both pies were outstanding! We can’t wait to come back again!“
