My daughter and I go to many places on weekends looking for antique sales which brought us to Walker today. We always find a hometown place to eat instead of chain restaurants. From the moment we walked in the place I guessed this was a wrong choice. The chairs were awful, busting and peeling. We picked a table that ended up being sticky. Our waitress was nice when greeting us. We looked at the menu and upon her return gave her our order. It didn’t take long at all and guessing that’s because we were the only customers there. The chicken was just ok as it wasn’t a typical chicken breast as it was more flat. The mac n cheese was awful. Tasted like it was a week old and just put into this dish and placed in the microwave. We each had a piece of cornbread on our plate and I could have threw it at the window and broke the glass because it was so hard. My daughter had the chicken as well and it was the same as mine. She also had okra which she orders from places all the time and she said it was not good at all. A $15 mistake stopping here. I couldn’t in my right mind recommend this place to anyone. Just awful.

I had a veggie omelet with hashbrowns and toast. It wasn't seasoned and I requested no jalapeño but ended up getting a couple of them anyway. The waitress was nice and the presentation of the food on the plate was great. If you are looking for something quick to eat you can stop in here. The seats aren't very comfortable, though they get the job done.

We are traveling on our motorcycle from Pa and are staying just down the road. Our first visit was good and plan on having breakfast here again before we move on. Very clean place. Prices are reasonable.

Poor service today. Did not accommodate me in what I ordered. S l o w wait over 30 minutes for a bowl of grits coffee. Other customers waited about 15 minutes served when I was served more food. Staff showed no concern when I complained.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! Where do I even start!!! This place is a joke! We had three entrees and every one was disgusting! The mashed potatoes were cold and dry. My steak was supposed to medium but it was almost rare. The service was ridiculous. I’m so mad at myself for having to spend 60$ on something so unpleasant! I’ve literally never eaten at a place this terrible before. I’m so very disappointed. Definitely need to get better servers and cooks! 10/10 do NOT recommend! And then on the menu it says dessert included but then they didn’t even have the dessert to give us! The food had no flavor, the quality of the food was worse than a frozen TV dinner! Needless to say I won’t be going back.
We stopped here on our road trip to Louisiana! Beat food we have had the whole trip! And the only food the whole trip my toddler wouldn’t stop eating! The staff was awesome. The atmosphere was great! 10/10 recommend!!

Unfortunately you just can't go here anymore. They have become so slows it's unbearable. It takes a minimum of 1 hout whether there are 2 people inside or 20 people inside. Something needs you be done this is ridiculous!

This place could be good if they had a better cook and invested in table and chairs. They could raise the prices to provide better food. The food quality is beyond cheap. The belgin waffle is just from the orange bags at walmart and wasn't cooked fresh. The omelets are made with deli meat and was even choped properly. Just get diced ham, the sausage omelet was sad and gross and the sausage was burnt and not choped. Total lack of effort beating the egg and was the flattes omelet I've ever witnessed. A toddler could make a better omelet. The sliced processed cheese was laid over the top creating a chefs kiss the worst presentation on a plate I've ever seen. Minimal effort with the food and everything is so over cooked and burnt. The cups were dirty. Good luck with the cheapest powdered chocolate milk over loaded. People only go here because it cheaper than driving elsewhere. This place could be greate. Stop putting sliced cheese and use actually grated cheese and stop being so cheap raise your prices so you raise the quality of food. Won't be back. It's just gross.
