Passing through town around lunch time and found this place. What a gem! It's exactly what you think of when you think of an old fashioned burger joint. The ladies at the counter were friendly, the food was fresh and homemade. I got the grilled chicken sandwich and my hubby got the burger, we upgraded to a combo with fries and drinks. After I paid but before I sat down to wait for my order, someone else's food order came up, and I saw their onion rings, I should have gotten the onion rings! They looked delicious, hand cut to order. Our food was hot & fresh and prepared reasonably quickly. Extra points given because the chicken breast was fully cooked and not dried out. It's a small seating area tables lined up around the room and a few in the middle. The next time we are in the area we will stop there again.

If your a local or just passing by this place is where to stop for a lunch or quick dinner. Don't stop at taco bell or burger King, drive just a couple miles up hwy 63 off i-12 and get a much better meal. It's a local favorite for the whole family. Even get you a ice cream after. You won't be disappointed. Cheeseburger po boy is my favorite, wings, onion rings many good things. And now they serve plate lunches monday-friday. Mr Dennis is the owner and a really nice guy.
Horrible at making orders correct, make sure to check your order is made correctly.I thought i was ordering g & j’s not mcdonald’s.This has been the 11th time i’ve gotten my order wrong. You’d think after repeating your order they’d make it right, nope! Also, their nacho chips are always stale never coming back here again.

Small hometown burgers and milkshakes done right. Poboys and seafood also . I ordered the half pound cheese burger. Definitely a meal by itself ?
