Now I’m a pit master myself and am from Texas. I am also a huge bbq nut. Had the ribs and sausage! They hit all the right points! Tender, juicy and smoky. Plus they threw in a free turkey leg that blew me out my seat!!!
First off ….. This little town in Mansfield Louisiana is BLESSED to have this standard of BBQ here. I travel the country for work and am working here from out of town. And I’ve eaten BBQ all across the world “ I’ve visited 14 countries !! And let me tell you what !!! This Ranks in the top 3 !!!! Wow man Y’all sure can put a smile on a man’s face !!! I grew up working on a turkey ranch. We smoked some of our birds for some of the high end restaurants in the city. However, they could not match the level of tenderness and taste I had today. Meat was falling off the bone. Awesome. Best turkey leg I've had in many decades.
