best crawfish I ever had in my life 10 out of 10!!
Food was just fantastic. Best tartar sauce ive eaten. Fried combination plate was awesome. All the kids ate it. Grease was fresh. I had a Philly Cheesesteak and it was the best ive eaten anywhere. We will return next time we are at the Lake.
The best place in Vermilion Parish to get crawfish! Friendly staff and always consistent!
Best breakfast in the area and super service! Can't wait to come back for lunch or dinner and some other items!
My husband and I had a great 3 day weekend at the resort. We chose this restaurant before leaving home for our special weekend. IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! The food and atmosphere was great, a casual country setting. I chose the seafood buffet and my husband ordered shrimp. The salad bar was delicious. The price was reasonable and the service was very good. We are coming back when we are in your area.
Place is no longer in businessIt's a Mexican restaurant
Food was fresh and amazing. Prices seemed a little high, but well worth it. Staff was amazing, and I loved the interior.
There were no boiled seafood at restaurant. So we ordered gumbo. To us, the worst gumbo in the world.
Food was good but only wish is that the Friday night seafood buffet has something besides fried on it. The pie was all so good too.
We were really looking forward to sharing a meal here after hearing good things about it. We ordered onion rings, gumbo, crab cakes, frog legs, catfish and Dungeness crab. One person ordered a vodka & tonic, another white wine and a beer for myself. The rings, catfish and frog legs were ok...not great. They were crispy, but very greasy. The crab cakes were more like hushpuppies. Very dense and not crabby at all. One guest commented that they were pasty. The gumbo was a disaster. Lots of thin, flavorless broth and miniscule, overcooked shrimp and gummy flakes of what appeared to be crab. Sent it back. The Dungeness crab was ok, but way overcooked and chewy. Not at all what we had expected. The drinks weren't any better. Instead of tonic water, they substituted club soda, which was flat. The wine was sour. Sent both back. My cold bottle of beer was just fine. And that was the only thing that was. The service was spotty. Not enough people to cover the room. So sorry to have to provide this review because we were told the food and service were wonderful. It was not.

We had breakfast at Fisherman’s Galley and it was good and reasonably priced. The staff was friendly, courteous and attentive. It was country home cooking. Our original cup of coffee was weak for our taste but the waitress went back and made a pot that was stronger and was very good. I appreciate the extra effort by the wait staff.
We stopped for a late lunch/early dinner on Monday. The good was wonderful! I had fried oysters and shrimp. The oysters were well seasoned and perfect. It came with salad and choice of two other sides (I had fries and fried corn on the cob). Really enjoyed it and we will go back.
The food here is always awesome. The service is always great as well. Not a fan of the cornmeal batter on the oysters but LOVE the big beautiful butterfly shrimp. And the PICKLES on the salad bar!
Extensive menu with something for everyone. We had alligator bites and gumbo, huge portions and our glasses were promptly refilled. Very friendly staff!
Looks can be deceiving as you may bypass this restaurant when driving by. This local Cajun restaurant has gumbos, pistolettes, boudin, porous as well as tradition American foods. We tried the boudin balls dipped in Ranch, the crayfish pistolettes and the seafood gumbo. Portions were generous.
