Country Boy in my opinion has the best catfish, chicken, and seafood I've ever had. I always have to eat there when I'm in town. Yum!! Yum!!

Mom & Pop places are the best and this one surely doesn’t disappoint! Coleslaw was great, tarter sauce was unique and tasted awesome, oysters were fried to perfection. Wife was shocked at how good the chicken livers were. Oh, the fried fish was actually whole fillets of catfish; not cut-up strips. So when you get a 3 piece, you actually get 3 fillets of fish like it used to be!!!

The ladies working were friendly and smiling and so nice! Only thing better was the food!! Best catfish and meat pie and home made coleslaw in the whole western part of Louisiana!! It’s kind of plain Jane from the outside-bit cozy small town diner feel inside-Definitely stop and check it out!!

Had a quick bite while traveling. The food was very good, I had catfish filets and coleslaw. What was interesting was the tartar sauce. It wasn't the traditional tartar sauce, but it had a sweet taste to it, but it was quite tasty. The catfish was done to perfection. You order from the front desk and then wait until your order number is called. It was a very busy place, I certainly recommend their food.

I've always enjoyed the catfish, fried shrimp, and chicken from Country Boy. Our out-of-town family likes it also. And their coleslaw is the best ever! Ms Rita, Mr. Joe, and their staff are great also. Always friendly service. The casual dining room gets busy at lunch time and dinner because Country Boy is known for consistently good food. They offer take out as well. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.
