Great little place damn near on Toledo Bend. Was our first visit. Decent service, decent food, but not overly friendly to folks they don't know. We will give it another try in a few weeks.
Great food! Great service!
Great spot on Toledo Bend for TX or LA residents. Extra crispy frog legs to order!
We were a group of seven women in matching cousin crew shirts. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The food was great and plentiful.
I will say, the parking needs organization. I'd go again.
Ordered the medium plate of catfish, with fried corn and a sweet potato. The fish was too thin in a few strips that were a bit overly cooked, kinda tasted like fried pork grinds. The hushpuppies were doughy in the middle. The sweet potato was burnt and had a funky taste to it. As far as the fried corn, all that was steamed and rolled in a Cajun spice. Nothing fried about it. The server never came by to ask about the food or never got a refill on tea. I ordered a piece of pecan pie, never received it, but was billed for it, which they said I received. Not pictured. If you want good fish, drive to Dairy Delight in pleasant Hill for some good tasting fish plates.
Excellent fried catfish served hot with large servings and very good salad bar
Great catfish fillet dinner. Great salad bar, catfish fillets, French fry’s, green beans, carrots and hush puppies. Large portions.
Went on Friday night the server started off cleaning our table by brushing it off with his hand and didnt come back till we were done
The girls clearing tables were dropping dishes in the floor by us no apoligies , left food and napkins in the floor and shoving the carts into people trying to eat . We had the buffet with the tinyest popcorn shrimp and oysters ive ever seen , not much of a selection and the only flavor i tasted was fried . $65 for 2 so i hope ordering off the menu is a better choice because we didnt come close to getting a $65 dollar meal. I dont know where they took these photos in the reviews but it aint what ya gonna get from my honest experience .
If you think this is great food you need to get outta town a lot more.
We stop here often when traveling between Texas to Louisiana - always good and great service!

The girls and I went on a little girl date to The Galley! They have the best salad bar and a pretty good selection of food on buffet nights, which are Fridays and Saturdays! They have amazing fish and popcorn shrimp! All their food is pretty good and the servers all work together to keep your needs met! Our families The Galley!
We went there for supper. I got the small fried catfish and wife gor baked catfish. Both were very good. Service was very nice.
Food, service, price were all great. Really nice salad bar.
This place had the worst seafood I have ever had. There is no seasoning on anything, and I think everything was cooked in the same oil. The catfish was not fileted very well. It still had all the black on it. I will never go back. The people were nice but didn't come back to ask if we needed anything or if everything was ok. I could have looked past if the food was good. But in Louisiana and not, I don't even think salt was on it. So bad.
Awesome food and friendly
