Great sized hamburger steak, took up half the to-go box. Good selection of sides. Cooked to order food, not fast food, worth the wait
Very good food, very friendly people, nice lake area atmosphere.

I was in town visiting family and originally planned to make this my lunch spot. While browsing local breakfast options, I decided to give it a try for breakfast instead—and I’m glad I did! My meal was fantastic. I ordered the omelet, which came with hashbrowns and a huge biscuit. The omelet was perfectly cooked with light, fluffy eggs, the hashbrowns were crisp and golden, and the biscuit was baked to perfection—light, fluffy, and full of flavor.
Later, I came back for lunch/dinner, and the food was just as impressive. I had the fried shrimp, which were lightly battered, perfectly fried, and incredibly fresh. If you’re an okra fan, theirs is a must-try—fried to a light, crisp perfection on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. The baked potato was spot on, and the meal included a trip to the salad bar. I don’t usually go for salad bars, but their commitment to quality was obvious—everything looked fresh, vibrant, and clean.
The service is second to none, with attentive staff constantly checking in and keeping everything in tip-top shape. If you’re looking for a fresh, flavorful, and genuinely welcoming dining experience, this is the place to be!

Surprised how great the food is here. Recommend by a relative. From the outside appearance didn't expect the good food, service and the hospitality. Must give it a try if in the area

I've been here a few times and it's always enjoyable. They give you a LOT of food! A salad bar comes with your food which is a great addition. Love that whole catfish!

My husband and I called our order in we were traveling and didn’t have time to sit. Everything was delicious and hot. We also had the homemade lemon meringue pie😊. We give it a 10star rating. 💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽😊

Great little place damn near on Toledo Bend. Was our first visit. Decent service, decent food, but not overly friendly to folks they don't know. We will give it another try in a few weeks.

Great food! Great service!
Great spot on Toledo Bend for TX or LA residents. Extra crispy frog legs to order!
We were a group of seven women in matching cousin crew shirts. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The food was great and plentiful.
I will say, the parking needs organization. I'd go again.
Ordered the medium plate of catfish, with fried corn and a sweet potato. The fish was too thin in a few strips that were a bit overly cooked, kinda tasted like fried pork grinds. The hushpuppies were doughy in the middle. The sweet potato was burnt and had a funky taste to it. As far as the fried corn, all that was steamed and rolled in a Cajun spice. Nothing fried about it. The server never came by to ask about the food or never got a refill on tea. I ordered a piece of pecan pie, never received it, but was billed for it, which they said I received. Not pictured. If you want good fish, drive to Dairy Delight in pleasant Hill for some good tasting fish plates.
Excellent fried catfish served hot with large servings and very good salad bar
