I'll address the food first. Four stars were given because her meal was a little too hot for her. For my meal, they allowed me to customize my order. The heat was spot on.We went there between lunch and dinner. It was mostly empty, and you could carry on a conversation without yelling. The place was absolutely well maintained, and at this point, I'll move on to the service.Let's just say everyone was helpful. Our waitress was on TOP-NOTCH!Next time, we'll ask if they have food for the terminally white geriatric crowd. So yes, we'll go back.

We had eaten here about two years ago and it was pretty good. I wasn't happy because my food was dry, especially the beans and rice. I could tell they were out on the hot plate first and probably stayed there a while before the entree was added. The flavor was good but not the texture. We recently decided to give them another try. It was a much better experience this time. The service staff was polite and checked back on us just the right amount of times. Even better was the food. Everything was cooked to perfection. We really enjoyed our dining experience this time.

I ordered a Burrito Roberto and it was pretty good. The steak was cooked perfectly and was NOT the chewy flank steak you often get. It came juicy and delicious. The atmosphere is great and the waitresses are very friendly. It was very busy, so there was a little longer wait, but that was to be expected.

Could not believe how good this place was. Friend ordered tacos Al pastor and said it was probably the best he has ever had. The red sauce that came with the Al pastor was great and pretty spicy. Service was awesome. Will come again if I ever return to marksville. Bathrooms were dim but clean.
