What you would expect in a small town. Margaritas were pretty good, buy one get one. Birria tacos were good but the corn tortillas were soggy and not crisp. Buddy recommends the pollo loco🙃
I am from Texas and love Mexican food. I was happy to try Los Frijolitos during my stay in Marksville because the reviews were very good.
I ordered The Marksville Platter which had several different items to taste. I was unimpressed with the dishes and it tasted like commissary food to me. The salsa was okay but I didn’t enjoy the chips and the queso was just okay.

Every time I visit my family, the first stop is a Mexican restaurant because I always crave their traditional food, it is so delicious and well prepared, you can tell your plate is hot, the flavors and heat of the spices in their food are authentic.
