If you loved your grandma and your mother's cooking then Ernie's Cafe is for you. Feels like I am being served straight from my childhood kitchen.
Dietary restrictions: They are not heavy-handed with the salt so you can actually taste the food.
Parking: Front, rear, side and across the street parking.
Wheelchair accessibility: Two ramps, one on the side and one in the front.
The food is really good and the service is very good. The atmosphere is causal and relaxed. The waitress is very nice and efficient.

It's mediocre food for a fair cheap price, what made me never go back was the plate of I believe it was chicken stew or something like that, I'm not exaggerating when I say it tasted like some slop they just threw together like something you would feed a stray dog or give to someone in prison that's really what made me never go back

Best chicken salad sandwich I've ever had! The sub (or po boy) roll it was on totally complimented it. Very lightly toasted, melt in your mouth. Great service, pleasant, friendly atmosphere. We'll be back.
