“So I found this restaurant on tik-tok and was not disappointed me and my family of 6 ate great we a re from Maryland and love southern cooking. Our waitress Tae was nothing but amazing, she explained everything and was very patient with us which made the experience more better. I would definitely revisit stop in and check them out.“

“Was all set to give it a go checked web and it said open until 8 so we headed out discussing what we would order n all BUT we arrived at 220 and to our surprise they were booked for a private party so we rebounded to another spot it’s gonna take some time to convince my wife to return only asking if you all are gonna close to public for a party maybe you can post on website and let us know . “We stumbled upon this establishment on our way to tour while on vacation. What a happy accident! We had tried a seafood restaurant the day before in the French quarter and left a bit disappointed thinking we wouldn't get the great dining experience we were hoping for while in New Orleans, but Restaurant des Familles more than provided. Everything we had was wonderful, not to mention the service was good and the views were lovely. So happy we stopped!“

“Gentleman that took my order over the phone was very helpful and professional. My order was ready when I arrived to pick it up just over 10 minutes later and the food was delicious. I ordered a fried shrimp poboy and the bread was super fresh, the shrimp were perfectly cooked and seasoned, nice size and well portioned. I also ordered a side of fries and they were plentiful, crispy and well seasoned. Highly recommend. Great neighborhood spot!“

“A hidden gem with outstanding food! Only 3, 4 top tables and 4 seats at the counter. Food is served in to go containers with a plastic fork so don't come in expecting fancy, just delicious! The shrimp plate comes with a dozen jumbo shrimp (probably 13-15ct), grilled blackened, or fried, and two sides. Everything was wonderful and the shrimp is local.“

“Every time we visit the New Orleans area, we look for a new restaurant to try apart from the same old "tourist" places. We happened upon Freakshake Cafe tonight. The Muffaletta and Po' Boys were delicious (especially the Italian Beef) and the portion sizes are HUGE (Get the small, trust me!) We even treated ourselves to some Freakshakes. (If you're into over the top dessert experiences, this is definitely for you.) Chef Bob is so friendly and personable. He made sure that every step of our dining experience exceeded our expectations. We look forward to coming back and visiting again!“
