The best food in town.

The food was excellent, my problem is they say on the menu that tea is free refills, when ask for a refill was informed I would be charged, so I ask for water and was told they charge for water even though I would be using my same cup. Almost all restaurants give free refills. I most likely won't be back since you have to pay for water as well, I understand bottle water but not tap water

My wife and I have been eating here for 25 plus years. Always loved this place. However, they are now charging for refills ($2.00). In addition, I asked for a glass of water. They are now charging $2.49 for a glass of water. Refills are $2.00. They have increased the prices on the menu also. I can understand the increase in food prices but the beverage issue is over the top. Unfortunately, we won’t be eating there anytime soon.

I waste my money 🤢

I thought the food was great, service was great. But I will not be back because we were not told that it’s $2 a water, no refills & same for soda. If I would’ve known that I would have walked out. $8 for water & $4 for soda is absolutely ridiculous. Now I see why no one was here.

I’ve eaten here twice recently and must say the food pretty dam good. The reason that I will not be returning is that they charged $2 for a water and then another $2 for a refill. $4 for two cups of tap water with a meal purchase is absurd.

Best down home cooking.

Let me tell you what, my students had a whole lot to say about the outside.

By the time they were greeted, sat, and cared for immediately at 8 pm on a Friday, no one cared what the outside looked like.

The food was 10/10 all around, not one student had anything bad they could say about their meal.

Great local restaurant. Food was fresh, tasty, and generous portions. My oyster connoisseur husband said they were fresh and fried perfectly. My Fraisers Connection sandwich was the best I've had in a long time.

Portions are huge. The food is okay.

Chicken was burnt and smelled burnt. The owner refused to fry my mom additional chicken. Told the worker to give my mom her money back. Never came to the front to apologize. No customer service skills at all. Fried the chicken correctly and put your best foot forward Frazier! This is your BUSINESS!

Food is great! I love this place. I get the fish on bun and the fish so BIG I really need another bun. No complaints!

Hidden gem. I was iffy about making a review for this place because I don't want it to get swarm, but it would be a shame not to share.

So, this is my second time coming back for the red beans and rice, with an order of smoked sausages. I think it is the best from all that I have tried in my life. Not to salty, not to bland, but perfected to my taste.

They have a great selection of typical Nola dishes as well, and is worth the try in my opinion. If I have visitors from out-of-state, this place would be one of the stop we have to make.

What to try: Red Beans and rice, with smoked sausages
