Never had a bad meal from here. Glazed beignets are pretty good. My highest recommended item from the menu however is the Joe's Southern club salad. Tastes delicious and can feed 2 to 3 people.

Came to pick up an online order. The employees ignored the window bell. So I walked in. Waitress asked if she can help me from across the room. Very unprofessional. Had an attitude because she was in a conversation with two men laughing. Told her I was there to pick an order up. Order wasn’t ready even though it said it was online. Waited roughly round 10mins. Got the order. Left. Shrimp pasta had a funny smell to it. Tasted spoiled! Gumbo was terrible also. Only thing my in-laws liked was the glazed beignets. Everything else went in the garbage! $60 plus a tip! Down the drain! I’ll never go there again! Not even for donuts! The one on Barataria is 10x better!

Make sure you get receipt, make sure it matches your card or bank transaction. They’re over charging. Even with proof from my cardholder, the general manager refused to reimburse me. I would go to another location.

Dined it at your Lapalco location today and truly disappointed with my experience. Restaurant was busy and understaffed around 9:30. Stood in line waiting to order for 10 minutes. Gentlemen came and sat at the bar and was immediately served. The server Mary Ann had not a care in the world. Her attitude was not great, she catered to her regulars and didn’t give no attention to the rest of the patrons. I’ve seen way better here but I must say in my recent visit the level of service has decreased and they don’t have the staffing they once had. Mary Ann is not the answer! I’d love some attention to training and hospitality to be visible!
