So another seafood restaurant bites the dust, when it comes to customer service. I called in at 1pm asked if they sold Jumbo blue crabs. They told me that they would have them ar 2:30 pm , and should the put some on the side for me. I told them yes, and how much would that be? I was told (by a famale) 20 dollars for 1/2 dz. I was excited because I love crabs. Most of the time I go to Sal's, but they are rather expensive. The last couple of times I ordered from Johnny's, they were wonderful. This time, she took my name and number and I told the same female that my husband would pick them up. They charged me 28.39 for 6 mediums/large. When I called back, after receiving them, the same female I spoke with put a man on the phone. I was told ( who I assumed was the chef or owner) that they didn't have p they gave me an exlarge, but somebody charged me for jumbos. They would give 2 dollars and some change back. Then he said, "Wait ,hold up, We charge 25 for Jumbos". So I owe u 4$ and some change. I said "Sir, but I didn't get what I ordered, I didn't get extra large or jumbos". He said, "Well next time u come, I can give 4 dollars worth of something." How unprofessional. He never made any suggestions to rectify the mix up. I had to ask him. Never offered free food or asked if we could come back to get a refund. My hands are small, and these things are no bigger than my hand I wear 6 1/2 ring. 28 dollars may not be a lot for some, but it is alot in this economy. I have a few dietary restrictions, and Crabs is my favorite because of the softness of the meat. These crabs barely had meat. I would've been Ok if his attitude wasn't so nonchalant. He made me feel like I was bothering him. Now I have to find somewhere else to get my fix. Ole well. This is what I received.

Wanted some shrimp but by the time I got there they where always sold out but they said I could call a head and they hold them for me and they did I got my 4ibs of shrimp and they where great and even got some beef tamales and where great

Mr Johnny and his staff are very friendly and attentive to customers needs and taste. The food is always FRESH. The wait is never too long. The restaurant is always clean and comfortable. I highly recommend eating here. The prices are more than fair for what you get.

Recently discovered this place! Take out or dine in. So far, we've had the shrimp poboys, shrimp salad, and stuffed eggplant. Their crab/ corn and shrimp/corn soups are, well, no words, I would definitely choose one for my last meal! Didn't care for the gumbo, though my sister loved it. Grabbed a pound of their $5/lb boiled frozen crawfish, cause I figured it was probably going to be my only crawfish this season, lol. Gotta say, the seasoning was fantastic!!! Highly recommend you check them out!!
