The craw fish was good at first but, once I was done I notice that my stomach was have ing some burning pain Then I looked it up and it said it could be food poisoning. ( should I sue??

Very disappointed, the wife a I eat their Friday for lunch. Try the Fry fish and oyster. Fry in old grease, the fish was soggy with grease not crispy, bad grease taste, oyster was also over cook . Very bad experience.
We had a talk with the owner Mr Lefort , he was reluctant to come see us, it took 30mins for him to hear our complaints.
He had a bad attitude, he said he served over 40 plates of the same Fry fish that same day, now that before 12 noon, you know that a lie, with nobody else complaining.
I will never recommend to anyone to eat their.
Leort's seafood Restaurant is a joke. The own is a Joke.
Mr Lefort needs to change his attitude, we talked to him briefly, he is not a good business person.
Lefort's restaurant will never be compared to what Sal's were, not even close.
I hope in the future he will do better, if he changes his attitude.
I do wish him and his business well in the customs service Restaurant business.

We tried Lefort’s Seafood today (Friday the 13th) and had an awesome experience. My wife and I shared 3 pounds of crawfish with corn and a catfish platter with fries, and everything came out hot and fresh.

The service was phenomenal, especially for a new restaurant. You’d think the staff might still be learning the ropes, but our server was incredible. There wasn’t a single moment we needed anything and had to wait. She checked on us multiple times, and we were only there for about 30 minutes.

The food came out really fast. The crawfish hit the table in about 3 minutes, and the catfish platter followed about 10 minutes later. Everything was piping hot. The crawfish has a little spice, just enough to taste it but not overpowering. Honestly, if they put any less spice in it, it wouldn’t have any at all. I saw some reviews saying it’s way too spicy, but those people obviously haven’t had truly spicy crawfish. The fries were amazing honestly like homemade Popeyes-style fries. The catfish was fresh and flavorful. I would have liked it fried a little harder, but the menu says it’s lightly battered, so it was exactly as advertised.

They also had us in and out quickly without ever feeling rushed, which we really appreciated.

This is definitely a great spot for families because there’s something for everyone. This was our first time trying Lefort’s, and we will absolutely be back.

I had lunch at Lefort's Seafood with my mom, and we both really enjoyed it. The boiled crawfish were perfectly seasoned and of great quality—solid 10/10. My mom’s catfish and shrimp were a hit—9/10. They even let her keep the shrimp when they brought it by accident—great customer service! The fried oysters were fresh and lightly seasoned—also a 9/10. The sweet tea was good, though I wish they offered cocktails or beer. Wait time was minimal, and our waitress, Kay, was attentive despite being busy. I’ll definitely return when I’m in town!

Ok I thought it was just me and my husband, but the crawfish is way to spicy. Ee gave the crawfish away that we bought. We talked to other people and they said the same thing. They use to be perfect. Perinos has been really good and they use to be spicy. Don't they know not everyone can eat alot of spice!!!! We want to enjoy the seafood not burn our mouth. Last few years Sals was like that.

It's not a terrible price but they're pre-boiled and pre-seasoned. If you're watching your salt for medical reasons, it's not a safe choice.

I got shrimp and crawfish and a third tasted of ammonia and because they sit so long, getting the vein out is hard because it's stuck in there good, so the ones that didn't taste of ammonia were inedibly gritty.

There are lots of options on the west bank, I'd try another one.

ETA: I got my food to go, so no, I didn't speak to someone because I got my order close to closing time. Not interested in calling after that reply.

Very disappointed! Ordered a fish plate with potato salad. 6 pieces of fish strips, not whole fish, with French fries, no bread or green salad. Potato salad was egg salad with chunks of potatoes. Was not worth $15.79. Don’t waste your money. 👎🏾

2/12/26 @ 5:34 PM called to place an order to go. Was immediately told by person on the phone that orders MUST be placed online. When I explained that I had already attempted to do that and the only available pickup time was the 13th at noon she told me I was mistaken and again that my order must be placed online. We were so excited to try this place and now we never will. Trash customer service.

Hi, I interviewed Brandy and KDs dog and he said that there was nothing wrong with the seafood. He understood that giving this exclusive interview would result in fewer dog treats and no pup cups for a week from his owners, but he said that the truth shall set you free. The dog would like the HD video to be released as that contains the truth and would hold up in a courtroom trial. The dog would like to apologize for the 1 star reviews given by his owners as they do not seem fair to the business.

Very fresh seafood with very reasonable price! Best crawfish I had in my New Orleans trip with 1/3 the price in French Quarter
