This was the most disappointing meal I've had in a long time. The chicken tortilla soup I ordered was flavorless and watery. After the first spoonful I was unable to eat anymore of it. I wanted "Tuesday tacos" and asked the waitress Bella if it included shrimp and fish and she said yes, so I ordered 2 of each, shrimp and fish with a side of sour cream and guacamole since it stated that it only came with onions and cilantro. The fish on the fish tacos was minced and unrecognizable as fish, the shrimp tacos were palatable, the grilled shrimp were small and few, 4 per taco. This restaurant is local and I really wanted to support them but the quality of the food is poor at best.
Once the bill arrived I was surprised when the price of the tacos was double if not more than the $1.50 Tuesday Taco prices. The fish tacos were $2.85 each and the shrimp tacos were $3.25 each. My total bill was $27.38 which included the cup of nasty soup, iced tea, 4 tacos, sides of sour cream and guacamole. I questioned my waitress Bella about the prices and she said I misunderstood her.
This is a one and done for me with Los Agaves Mexican Restaurant.
Service at best was poor.
I really wanted to have a local go to Mexican Restaurant in my neighborhood but this is definitely not it.

Tacos are the bomb. Reminds me of growing up in So Cal and crossing the boarder for taco carts. Good food and great atmosphere.

Please do not pass this place up!!! There food was delicious!! Chips and regular salsa and also the hot and spicy salsa are the best we've had!!!! That says A LOT , as we are foodies and love trying out different versions of our favorites from many different resturants. The double order of Molcajete was great as well.

Great little spot! We enjoyed their tacos and their kids menu, it was very well priced. They also do authentic tacos on Tuesday for $1.50/taco.

We came across this Mexican cuisine restaurant by chance. Very good discovery, delicious dishes, generous and inexpensive for the quality. In addition, we were very well received and the service throughout the meal was impeccable. Nothing to complain about other than go there!!
