Picked up a king cake just before they closed this past Friday. They didn't have a strawberry cream cheese, but the girl said she had a regular she could fill. I don't know what happened, but there was nearly no filling at all. Their king cake might be good, I don't know, but, if they offer to fill one already on the counter, run! After eating 1/3 with no filling i cut the remaining cake to show the lack of pink filling.

Their monthly drinks are unique and tasty, their breakfast options are amazing if you want savory or sweet they have you covered.

While their doughnuts are delicious, they have gotten substantially smaller. Smaller portions and increased prices are not a good combo. Nearly $14 for a dozen chocolate covered doughnuts. I can get a dozen larger chocolate covered doughnuts from Meche's for less than $10.
At those prices, I'll never shop at Village Deaux again.

Never again. I’ve given them too many chances, and I experience the same issues every time. If you arrive after 9:30 am, be prepared to only get glazed donuts. Every single time I go on Sundays, we’ve arrived between 9:30 and 10:15, and they are out of everything but glazed. They turn their grills and fryers off around that time, even though the website states they are open until noon!
As frustrating as that is, it's the employees that upset me the most. They make you feel like an inconvenience for wanting something more than the scraps left over. This happens every single time.
