We stopped by on Black Friday, picked up some poboys and took the grandkids to Moncus Park for a picnic and play! Sandwiches were amazing and I love, love, love those French fries!!!!

I’ve eaten here for years but the last few times I was not impressed, today I thought maybe that was an off day. Nope. Today was HORRID!!! My shrimp tasted like old grease and tough shrimp, the fries were inedible, they were ice cold and hard as a rock literally. I’m done, not for me again. I understand why their new location failed!

A place where you can't really go wrong ordering anything. Nice, local people serving high quality ingredients and preparing everything with care! My go to's are the Meatball Poboy and the Villager and they are just amazing. Awesome beignets too if you want to grab something sweet!

The poboys are always good. It pains me to write this but my butt is a little chapped over the incident.

I looked online at the menu and saw what comes on each sandwich. Ordered, picked up the food and when I got home the sandwich was covered in mayo, mustard and tomato. Threw it in the trash and called to order another one because they obviously gave me the wrong order. The person on the phone said that the villager comes with all that on it. To which I informed them that the website specifically states it comes with: ham, roast beef, pepper cheese and au ju gravy. I understand that some people like all that on their sandwiches but I don't and wasn't expecting it to be there based on the content of the website.

I drove all the way back and bought another sandwich.

All of this could have been avoided if you have your menu listing's correct.
