Maybe an off day for them and us. But it seems that the food has become more repetitive and less fresh. Had chicken fried steak, which turned out to be one of those cheap frozen things from almost any grocery store. Gravey was, imo, canned and just reheated to serve. It was supposed to come with French fries which were more like thick chips. That initself would have been ok but they were soggy and seemed to have been reheated, not fresh. They also tasted burnt or cooked in old...
This is a hidden gem in my small town of Maurice, LA!! Great Sandwichs! Great service! Decorated with ole antiques, casual relax lunch atmosphere! Outside seating available! Across the street from the famous City Bar!
Good quality food. A little pricey and no cocktail sauce for the shrimp. Good service as well.
