“Been here hundreds of times. Only had one bad experience, and that was most likely due to an illness or someone quitting. By bad I mean I had to wait a really long time to be waited on. Must point out again that they were short handed, and very very busy. I do not hold that against them at all... just being as honest as I can. My other hundreds of experiences, I am in and out with delicious breakfast.“

“In a 1200+ mile radius there are 2 places in Lake charles that have the best donuts I have ever had in that distance in my entire life and donut king has the absolute best donuts I ever had. They are so amazing that I can not even eat donuts anywhere else in the country that come close to 1/16th as good as donut king and the flavor has not changed in over 28+ years that I have had chocolate donuts from donut king. They should have a score of 12 out of 10 stars. Better than having ice cream for the first time is how I would describe how beyond perfect their donuts are.“

“The cutest Christmas Donuts at the most reasonable price. All were delicious, but the reindeer with the maple glaze is my favorite. Their Kolaches are excellent and they have an awesome Apple Fritter. Nice people and a super clean shop.“

“PERFECT, hit the spot! Friendly service and fresh donuts & kolaches! We stopped by because Cracker Barrel and Waffle House were packed out and did not regret it at all! We ordered kolaches, donuts and got drinks as well. Everything was priced great, the man behind the counter was super friendly and all our sweets were delicious and fresh. “This is hands-down my favorite breakfast stop. I always get the same thing - a caramel frap with black boba and a brisket kolache. There is NOTHING that compares. If I could, I’d choose their coffee over Starbucks every time! The brisket kolache is like nothing I have ever had at any other donut shop; nothing even comes close to satisfying like my go-to! Additionally, every time I go there, I’m given the friendliest service and the staff are very patient and kind with my son. Highly recommend!“

“Don't waste your time with an establishment that is involved in false advertisement.Free donut on their flyers is totally BS.When you ask for your free donut, you have to buy a donut.They left that part out!The flyer was from today 8am/6pm Saturday July 26 2025@Nelson Rd.Lake Charles,La.70605 and the guy at the take out window is rude as hell.“

“Go in and out quick as I can... get.my order go I personally don't think I can ever get the desire to sit down and eat or drink my order in the dining area here... Too small, and attached to a gas station on the side, so I'm not sure what I would have accomplished by trying to make a morning of my visit and just sit there and be uncomfortable with the over visited , fast pace lifestyle of the whole thing but everyone is nice and friendly service is abundant here,at least the time of day I frequent that establishment of“
