Acadian Ambulance Station - New Iberia

Our daughter broke her leg and we needed to get her from hospital in New Iberia to our home in Lafayette. We had to wait a couple of hours to get picked up, which was understandable as we were not an emergency. But Brandi and Farrah were wonderful. Our daughter is a special person, 53 years old. They made her very comfortable physically and emotionally. By the time they arrived at home with her, the 3 of them were talking and laughing like best friends. They assisted us with getting her to the bathroom and into bed before they left. Brandi and Farrah are to be commended for their compassion and kindness.

You would be better off calling an Uber driver than trusting Acadian Ambulance with you or your loved ones care. We had 2 absolutely horrible experiences with this company with their lack of efficiency and treatment of my grandmother. Several of my family members have provided written and verbal complaints to which we were told someone would reach out to us. That's was almost a month ago and none of us have heard back. This company is a monopoly in this area and they know it. They don't care about you or your family they just want to charge you and your insurance for $3000 for a taxi ride.

Brandi from Acadian ambulance was amazing. She made sure we had a decent ride. She also made sure my three year old was comfortable and happy. She also gave my daughter a teddy bear that I do not think my daughter will let go off now.
