Magnificent place, without a doubt one of the best places in all of Louisiana, the atmosphere takes you back to the past, and with its delicious food it can't even be said delicious
We live in New Orleans and visit Jefferson Island and Cafe Jefferson once a year or so. We end up coming for brunch and staying 3 to 4 hours. The food is wonderful! On our last visit, October 5, 2024, our group ordered crab meat au gratin, chicken sauce piquant, eggplant Michelle, and crawfish etouffee. Cajun staples. Guess what? They were better than my mama makes. Better than I make! Also, where can you have food and drink on land at 75 feet elevation overlooking the water in...
I've tried the food here a few times and I haven't been disappointed yet. The food is so delicious. It is a bit pricey but it's so worth it. The staff is awesome. They always do a great job even when their swamped. The place itself is really nice. The grounds are always beautiful. If you haven't been then your definitely missing out
