Church's Texas Chicken

I like their spicy chicken & fried okra. They have a promotion on their receipts, buy something & get a free chicken piece. I did all that but never received my free spicy chicken thigh. Of course, I didn't check the bag when I left & I guess I got screwed Again!!!

I hadn't been ro church's in a couple of years. Food is still good. Seasoned and hot, but there was no AC, doors were open, flies were all around.

Horrible service. Staff is not just rude but also verbally abusive to delivery drivers. The inside of the store smells like rancid grease. It's dirty, has a cluttered kitchen, understaffed, and equipment isn't properly maintained. There are better places in town to eat fried chicken.

Ordered two pieces of chicken from churches on saint Peter Street in New Iberia it was very greasy an small pieces of chicken an lemonade it wasn’t sweetened at all waste of time an money.

Stopped here for 2- 2 piece fried chicken and the food is fried very good!

Placed an order online through the app and when I arrived, they were out of chicken tenders and REFUSED to substitute anything else for them. The employee told me it was for inventory purposes. Then, she proceeded to tell me I had to cancel the order through the app to get my money back. Now I have to wait for my money until corporate sees fit to refund me. NEVER AGAIN.

Literally watched the lady drop the chicken utensils and not clean them after they fell on the floor.

I went to purchase a family meal Thursday a little before 8 pm. There was no chicken fried and the assistant manager stated they were only frying as order. I asked if I could order a 10 pc family meal and was told it would be over 30min wait. She then stated they were only frying original cuz she had to save the spicy for the morning crew. After realizing that she simply didn’t want to fry anymore chicken I asked to purchase some gravy. She yelled at me as if I were a kid saying she is getting ready to close. I’m unsure of her name but she is with child and stay on her phone.

Ok I just ordered a large family meal with Churches!! Great experience! The restaurant was clean, staff was courteous and welcoming! My order was out fast, hot, and fresh! I also appreciated the staff for looking over my entire order making sure everything was in my bag!! I’m very pleased with my service I definitely will be back!
