We recently had the pleasure of dining at Jane’s during our visit to New Iberia, LA, and it was truly a memorable experience. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The food was outstanding, showcasing a delightful blend of flavors that left us craving for more. We savored every bite of the gumbo, fried rice, and shrimp Lo mein; each dish was expertly prepared and incredibly satisfying. Not only was the food delicious, but the service was also impeccable. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction throughout the meal. Special mention goes to the bartenders, who were not only skilled in crafting delicious drinks but also exuded friendliness and warmth.Highly recommended for anyone visiting New Iberia, LA.

Comfortable, at home, family atmosphere.Kid-friendliness: While waiting outside about 15 min my 6 yr old grandson and another boy had plenty of room on the patio and around it to run and play having a lot of fun being well behaved kids.Wheelchair accessibility: Not sure. I believe they had a ram for wheel chair at entrance.

I tried multiple times to wmake a reservation. Always got a recording for location and times, but never was able to even leave a message. The website had a wait list icon, but always had a "no waiting... come on in!" message. When our party of 8 arrived at 5:45 we were told it would be 20 or 30 minutes. I told them I had called to make a reservation and tried to get on the wait list. The response was that the staff probably didn't answer because they were getting ready to open. The opening time today was 4 PM. I called after 4 PM but got the recording. If a business advertises that they are open at 4 PM they should be prepped and ready for business at 4 PM. We were told our table would be ready as soon as the diners got up and left. "Soon" was another 10 minutes. Our wait person was efficient and personable, the saving grace for our dining experience. Food was acceptable except for the fried catfish.

This is one of the many gems that came highly recommended by local residents here. They have a pretty extensive menu with local Cajun/ Creole options and Chinese dishes on the opposite side of the menu. Both options I heard were fantastic but most customers here came for the local dishes: seafood boil, stuffed shrimp and crab, etc. I sat at the bar (it was packed and I didn’t want to sit at a table that could accommodate a party of 6), ordered a brew and indulged in some delicious stuffed shrimp! Wow! I usually save room for dessert but that wasn’t going to happen tonight.I was told that Jane’s is packed every night. Tonight wasn’t an exception.Make your way to Jane’s and make sure you are hungry!

On Tuesday nights they have a 2lb crawfish and shrimp special. Lots of folks were there for the special. We sat at the bar and had great service. With my Yelp check in we received a free egg roll appetizer. Very tasty! We ordered our crawfish special spicy. They were spicy and good but extremely salty. Next time I might order regular spice and ask for less of the salty topping.

Shrimp was fresh. Food was awesome. Service was good. No wait when we arrived, long line when we left. Seriously good food.
All of the food is soo delicious. I don't know where to start. Once I hear or read the name Jane's Seafood, my mouth starts to water. So much to choose from, rice is awesome. Seafood is EPIC. Jane's is a very cozy hang out spot where you see family & friends that you have not seen in a while. We all love having birthday parties at Jane's which my family loves to take the drive. I live in Baton Rouge and we all love taking that drive down to Jane's Seafood. #welovejane'sseafood Mary Wilson

I had a horrible time at Jane's Seafood & Chinese Restaurant. The potato salad was chunky and the catfish wasn't fried correctly.
Wife and I stopped in for dinner, sat at the bar. We had egg rolls, pork fried rice and human beef, all very tasty, this was a nice change from cajun and seafood we have been eating, food came out super fast and the portions were huge, takeout for a meal
