They used to be the best in Louisiana. But the three different kind of donuts I just purchased were all horrible. The glazed donut tasted like it was soaked and saturated with cooking oil completely unpalatable. It’s sad to see something that was once so good reduced to this

THE BEST DONUTS EVER AND OWNERS AND EMPLOYEES ARE AWESOME!!!!
I used to LOVE mechs and get it almost every morning, but now I’m never excited to get it. The food has changed poorly and there’s always a bad aftertaste. If the recipe changed I recommend they change it back. The aftertaste tastes like metal and I hate it.

What happened to the donuts?! I haven't ordered in a while, but I missed them so I decided to treat myself today. The donuts were so SMALL! The overall size of the donut has shrunk and the hole was so big there was hardly any donut left. Very disappointed ?

What happened to meches donuts I haven't been there in a while and when I got there the loud music almost made me turn around. Y'all ran all the old people out of there that used to sit in there and drink coffee. I couldn't even hear the lady take my order with the loud music. They had two hoodlums outside smoking whatever and they work there. The old people don't have anywhere to go anymore and drink coffee and talk. So sad!! I never thought I'd see meches change like that.🙄

What happened to meches donuts I haven't been there in a while and when I got there the loud music almost made me turn around. My first negative experience with Meches. I went in at 7:30 am and ordered 1 dozen hot glazed donuts. The person waiting on me went in the back and came out with a box of donuts. 10 minutes later I opened the box to discover cold donuts. They tasted like day old donuts. I've been going to this Meches for 24 years and in the past was always told if they were out of hot donuts.
