The only reason it gets 4 stars is because it's the closest New Orleans Original to me without driving over an hour! The place was okay, not overly festive. Crappy music blaring through the speakers. We weren't even acknowledged at first. Not a "How's it going" or anything when we walked in. She was definitely playing attention to ther 2 separate groups of guys though. We almost turned around and walked back out...but my favorite daiquiri is Mardi Gras...
We were in town for the weekend and decided to stop by! Nice atmosphere, met some of the locals and enjoyed a couple samples and ended up leaving with the PC. Spent the day in The French Quarter on Saturday and stopped at the one on Bourbon. The Strawberry and Peach Bellini was delish! Customer service here was AWESOME! �
The place is really nice and clean. The staff is very nice. I've been twice since it opened and the one time I went in and sat to drink for a few hours the music was awful. It was rap music and nothing but cursing. I hope to go back soon.
