Steak was thin but tasted ok. However, we asked the waitress if the ribs were included as a side & she told us yes. We asked twice because we couldn’t believe it & was told they were so we ordered them. When the bill came, we were charged $8.99 for each of the ribs ordered. Only 2 ribs in each order. I told her she told us ribs were a side order with steak. She said she made a mistake & we had to pay for them. I hadn’t touched mine so I gave them back & she took off the price of 1 order. Needless to say the $8.99 for the other order was her tip.

I recently placed an Uber Eats delivery order with this so called restaurant. The distance from the restaurant to where my order was to be delivered was literally 9 minutes away. 9 MINUTES AWAY…..why it took almost 2 HOURS for this place to cook a half rack of ribs and a baked potato is BEYOND MY COMPREHENSION!?!? Uber compensated 20% of my order cost to me as an inconvenience fee but this whole in the wall place did NOTHING TO REMEDY MY SITUATION. NOT. ONE. THING. I normally understand because I’ve worked fast food, as a server , in restaurants etc. but THIS missed the mark by a mile. And the food was sub par on top of the lengthy service time. If I could have given it zero stars, I would have….two thumbs down and wouldn’t recommend this place to people I don’t even like. Don’t waste your toile or hard earned money eating here, please!?!?

So, I had the steak at the new steakhouse at the Ramada Inn. I am a medium to medium rare kinda girl so this was perfect for me. The ribeye had an excellent crust that I haven’t had anywhere else in recent memory. Garlic mashed potatoes and sautéed mushrooms were perfect. The atmosphere is plain and relaxed. No need to get all fancied up. Give them a try. I’m sure they are still working out some kinks so be patient. No alcohol is served as of yet.
Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome.
Wheelchair accessibility: Enough room for wheelchair to have more than ample space.
Amazing ribeyes and great environment. 10/10 will definitely go again. A+

Don’t let their lack of decor or “ambiance” ruin it for you because their steaks are incredible. I took my daughter out for dinner last night for her birthday. The waiter was super sweet… I wish I remembered his name. Anyway, great service, great food. If you want a delicious steak without having to “get fixed up for a fancy dinner”, this is your spot. We’ll definitely be back.

Ok don’t let the atmosphere scare you. We were like, what did we just walk into? At this point, we’re here. The young staff was amazing. So friendly and accommodating. The steak was perfect! Delicious! We had the 16 ounce ribeye. We would definitely come back.
New Iberia really needed another place for steak that didn't cost $49. Steakhouse at Ramada was great, my husband loved his steak. What really made our visit enjoyable was our server, Pierre. He was just a delight and we loved meeting him.

The waiter was wearing pajamas, and I witnessed him sucking his fingers after walking out of the kitchen area! As far as food I have no clue, as that was enough for us to leave. I’m not paying $34 for a steak served by a guy in his pj’s! We also were the only people in there and saw several people come look in the door and when they witnessed the same thing they left as well.

My wife and I are staying at the Ramada. We were very happy when the steakhouse opened. We have been there a handful of times for dinner. The steaks are great because the grill cook knows what he's doing. I favor the mushrooms, my wife loves the mashed potatoes and we both get broccoli.Honestly, each meal makes two meals for us.
