Been eating at Ma Mama’s for past 4 years multiple times per month, mostly lunch time. I have never had a bad dish and have tried the whole menu. I have traveled the world and eaten at some amazing restaurants, Ma Mama’s is my favorite for Louisiana cooking in the Baton Rouge area. Service can be slower at times, but never experienced rudeness. I enjoy the occasional new item on the menu to try new tastes. I will continue to enjoy a wonderful dining experience...
It is a very nice place , I enjoyed it a lot. As for the food I thought it was bland with no taste. I had the crawfish étouffée fried catfish on top, and I was like where is the flavor ? But I’d still recommend it.
This is my favorite little date night spot, very upscale quite little gem! 💎 I recommend the oyster Orleans , this will melt in your mouth and the prime rib is so delicious ! Don’t forget to order Margaritas with Ms. Olivia!! She makes them best!
